ANGIE ENGER COACHING TERMS OF SERVICE & PRIVACY POLICY

1. TERMS

The terms and conditions below apply to all coaching and mentoring services provided by Angie Enger (“the coach”), to any individual or organization (“the client”) and constitute the contract for the service to be provided by Angie Enger for the client. The term ‘coaching’ as here used covers life coaching, intimacy coaching, sex coaching, and personal coaching, for clients and where applicable includes mentoring or supervision services provided for clients, coaches or others.

In the spirit of good practice, when you are purchasing coaching services from me I ask you to confirm that you have read and agreed to each statement below and that you wish to proceed.

All coaching services and communication, email or otherwise, delivered by myself, Angie Enger, as well as information on this website (angieenger.com) are meant to help you work towards your personal goals. Coaching is not a substitute for professional mental health care or medical care.

At the end of the coaching process, or series of coaching sessions, the client may be asked to complete a feedback form.

2. Coaching Agreement

  1. Coach Responsibilities:

The Coach agrees to maintain the Code of Ethics and standards of behavior set out by the International Coach Federation, and to:

  1. Be present and free from distractions during scheduled sessions;

  2. Be kind, honest and direct;

  3. Be prepared for each coaching session;

  4. Validate, focus on and believe in your strengths and the best in you;

  5. Accept you fully and meet you where you are;

  6. Support you in considering new perspectives;

  7. Co-create new possibilities with you;

  8. Support your learning and progress; and

  9. Consistently focus on, and help you focus on, your highest agenda for yourself.

  1. Client Responsibilities:

While your coach will show up with presence and attention to support your growth, it is critical that you come to the table with a willingness to be open - and to share, reflect and learn. As such, Coaching Client agrees to:

  1. Determine the success of their own coaching work;

  2. Be willing to engage in the process without an externalized goal;

  3. Be willing to examine processes (habits, methods, values) and change them (when desired);

  4. Be open to new possibilities and experimenting with new ideas;

  5. Work towards trusting their coach and the process;

  6. Engage in coaching that is comprehensive and inclusive of all areas of work and life as relevant (e.g. finances, relationships, health, work, etc);

  7. Be open to a large result; be open to the idea that through coaching, your life and intimacy could truly shift;

  8. Communicate honestly with your coach;

  9. Be open to feedback and resistance; and

  10. Create the time and energy to participate fully in this work.

4. Services

  • The parties agree to engage in weekly or biweekly coaching sessions.

  • Coaching will be done via Google Hangout unless otherwise arranged.

  • First session will last 60 minutes.

  • Ongoing sessions will last 50 minutes.

5. Cancellation & Lateness

  • Client agrees that it is the Client’s responsibility to notify the Coach at least 48 hours in advance of the scheduled call/meeting if the Client cannot make the session. In the event of an emergency, please be in touch with the Coach as soon as you are able.

  • If you need to reschedule, Coach will make every effort to accommodate your request, but it is not guaranteed.

  • If you are more than 10 minutes late to a 50 or 60 minute session, the session will be canceled. We will make every effort to reschedule it, but it is not guaranteed.

  • In the event that the Coach needs to cancel a session, it will be rescheduled as soon as possible at the convenience of both the Coach and the Client.

6. Limitation of Liability

  • Client understands that Angie Enger offers coaching services only, and does not offer psychotherapy or any other state-regulated mental health services. Your Coach is not authorized to perform psychotherapy during coaching work.

  • Coaching is not a replacement for medical or mental health care and should not be used to treat medical or mental health issues.

  • If a mental or physical health concern arises that impedes the success of the Coaching work, or poses serious risk to the coaching client, the coaching agreement may be terminated prematurely at the discretion of the Coach.

  • Coach is not liable for any decisions made by Client.

7. Payment Terms

Fees can be paid online by debit or credit card, or by PayPal, upon receipt of the coaching invoice delivered via email.

Fees are payable in advance of the first coaching session unless otherwise agreed. Where payment has not been received by the Coach 24 hours in advance of the start of a coaching agreement, the Coach is not obliged to provide the initial session.

8. Early Termination

In exceptional circumstances, such as illness or unavailability due to bereavement or other commitments, inappropriate behavior by the client, actual or potential conflict of interest, or other reasons, the Coach can decide to terminate the service to the client early or be unable to provide further coaching sessions to the client. In such a circumstance the client will be given reasonable notice of termination by the Coach and will not be refunded any advance payments made for coaching sessions not yet provided.

9. Confidentiality

This coaching relationship, as well as all information (documented or verbal) that the Client shares with the Coach as part of this relationship, is bound to confidentiality by the ICF Code of Ethics, but is not considered a legally confidential relationship (like in Medicine or Law). The Coach agrees not to disclose any information pertaining to the Client without the Client’s written consent. The Coach will not disclose the Client’s name as a reference without the Client’s consent. Confidential information does not include information that: (a) was in the Coach’s possession prior to its being furnished by the Client; (b) is generally known to the public or in the Client’s industry; (c) is obtained by the Coach from a third party, without breach of any obligation to the Client; (d) is independently developed by the Coach without use of or reference to the Client’s confidential information; or (e) that the Coach is required by law to disclose.

10. PRIVACY POLICY

Your privacy is important to us.

It is Angie Enger Coaching’s policy to respect your privacy regarding any information we may collect while operating our website. Accordingly, we have developed this privacy policy in order for you to understand how we collect, use, communicate, disclose and otherwise make use of personal information. We have outlined our privacy policy below.

  • We will collect personal information by lawful and fair means and, where appropriate, with the knowledge or consent of the individual concerned.

  • Before or at the time of collecting personal information, we will identify the purposes for which information is being collected.

  • We will collect and use personal information solely for fulfilling those purposes specified by us and for other ancillary purposes, unless we obtain the consent of the individual concerned or as required by law.

  • Personal data should be relevant to the purposes for which it is to be used, and, to the extent necessary for those purposes, should be accurate, complete, and up-to-date.

  • We will protect personal information by using reasonable security safeguards against loss or theft, as well as unauthorized access, disclosure, copying, use or modification.

  • We will make readily available to customers information about our policies and practices relating to the management of personal information.

  • We will only retain personal information for as long as necessary for the fulfillment of those purposes.

We are committed to conducting our business in accordance with these principles in order to ensure that the confidentiality of personal information is protected and maintained. Angie Enger Coaching may change this privacy policy from time to time at Angie Enger Coaching’s sole discretion.
