Hi, I’m Angie.

I’m a self-intimacy and sex coach specializing in self compassion, body comfort and sexual satisfaction. I work with clients to create a life of pleasure by focusing on the individual as a universe that can be explored, reimagined and cherished. My clients find that this dedicated approach to their unique challenges, desires and wishes can unlock their intimate relationships in a way that traditional couples therapy can’t (many clients do both!).

My Creds

I graduated with a Masters of Arts in Community Counseling in 2009 from the University of Minnesota. During that time, I completed an independent study with Dr. Eli Coleman at the Eli Coleman Institute for Sexual and Gender Health (Formerly the Center for Human Sexuality) and a Practicum at the The Gender and Sexuality Center for Queer and Trans Life (formerly the GLBTA Programs Office). I have additional experience in the sexuality and wellness space as a Sex Educator at the Annex Teen Clinic.

What is the difference between coaching and therapy?

Both coaches and therapists are wonderful and can help you live a better life. Therapists generally focus on your entire life, unpacking your past and anticipating your future. Coaches help you navigate a specific realm and reach specific goals.

What does a typical coaching session look like?

Most sessions will take place over Zoom or Google Hangout and will last approximately 60 minutes. We’ll start by getting a sense of your current situation, barriers and goals for our work together. At the end of each session, we will talk through next steps and actions to keep you moving forward between sessions. At the conclusion of our work together, we’ll recap our progress & identify how you can best leverage what you’ve learned as you move onward in life.

Are my sessions confidential?

Yes. Your privacy will be deeply respected throughout the length of our relationship. The details of our sessions will not be disclosed to anyone. I will not disclose that I am working with you without explicit permission.

What makes Angie unique?

Angie is a deeply empathic pragmatist. She believes that everyone deserves pleasure and everyone can access body comfort. She believes self-intimacy is the key to it all. Despite having Masters of Arts in Counseling from the University of Minnesota, Angie spent 15 years doing marketing for beloved brands before realized she had been coaching all along.
